Felony charges have been dropped against a 35-year-old Stephanie Vargas of Sioux Falls. She's the woman who failed to report a homicide to police in the days following an alcohol-fueled beating death. Vargas pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of misprision of a felony Tuesday in a Minnehaha County courtroom in a plea deal that will keep her out of prison.
