Ruben Peter Padilla, 66, was indicted last week on seven counts of sexual contact with a child younger than 16 and one count of sexual contact with a victim incapable of consent for a series of sexual interactions with three boys. The Brandon goat farmer reportedly molested three young boys on multiple occasions between 2005-2011, and “groomed” his victims and built up trust with the boys’ parents, police say. Padilla has been in jail on a $250,000 cash-only bond since March 1.
