Winter weather experienced throughout the Sioux Empire prompted dozens of accidents on icy and wet roads in Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls police say they were called to 31 accidents Tuesday between 7 a.m. and 10:15 p.m. Officers responded to nine accidents Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. Some were listed as injury accidents, but officials say none were serious.
